Karen Galvin founded The Training Scene in 1994 and has a passion for live theatre. Her background in both acting and directing drove the creation and success of the theatre-based training at The Training Scene. Be ready for takeaways on how to hone your personal power and leadership skills in 2026.

When: Sunday, March 22, 2026 1 PM- 4PM
Where: The Sheraton, Back Bay – Boston, MA – Departs from hotel lobby
Time: Meet at 12:45 pm at The Sheraton Hotel, ECC Conference Registration Desk for 1:00 PM departure (hotel lobby) – returning 4 PM.
Cost: $35.50 per person, nonrefundable but transferable to another ECC Guest
Itinerary: Explore the best of Boston for a tour of the city in our private, heated touring van/or motor coach for ECC Guests. See Boston’s top attractions, including the original bar from TV show “Cheers”, a stop at historic landmarks Faneuil Hall Marketplace & Quincy Market (historic marketplace with lots of food vendors, and shops and known for their New England clam chowder and lobster rolls) then a stop at the North End where attendees will have the option to hop off to take a walk on the Freedom Trail, see Paul Revere’s house, The Old North Church (built in 1723) and stop at Mike’s Pastry for one of their famous cannoli or cookies before heading back to the hotel (bring cash only for Mike’s Pastry)!

The Eastern Claims Conference (ECC) is an educational conference devoted to the Life, Disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), and Accident insurance industry. The ECC’s program is designed to serve a broad target audience, from entry-level associate to senior management. The ECC’s purpose is to present an annual conference for the benefit of those who serve the insurance industry.

There is no separate membership fee; however, for attendance we require that our attendees be engaged in performing a function for the benefit of the claim professional and insurance industry. We cheerfully encourage in-house counsel and outside defense counsel engaged and assisting with the insurance industry.
We reserve the right to restrict attendance at the conference to appropriate attendees based on our discretion.
